1. Who we are.
[COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], Bulgaria ("we"), operates ivygrows.com and app.ivygrows.com ("Ivy"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: hello@ivygrows.com.
2. What we collect.
Your email address and password hash (account). What you add: plants, rooms, photos, notes, care history, inventory, water profile, travel plans. Your approximate location if you enable weather. Technical data: device and browser type, error reports. On the website: anonymous, cookieless page statistics.
3. Why.
To run Ivy for you (contract). To answer your questions and read your photos with AI models (contract). To fetch the weather for your location (contract, only with your consent to location). To keep the service secure and fix errors (legitimate interest). To email you about your account (contract). We do not sell data and we do not show ads.
4. Who processes data for us.
Vercel (website and app hosting, USA/EU edge). Hetzner (our servers and backups, Germany/Finland). Google (Gemini API: the text and photos you send for answers, identification and scans; not used by Google to train its models under the paid API terms). PlantNet and Plant.id (identification photos, where enabled). Open-Meteo (coordinates for weather). Amazon Web Services (email delivery). Sentry (error reports). KICKFLIP's feedback service (what you type into the feedback button). Transfers outside the EU rely on standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention.
For as long as you have an account. Deleted accounts and their photos are removed within 30 days; backups expire within [N] days after that. Error reports are kept for 90 days.
6. Your rights.
Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection. Write to hello@ivygrows.com.
7. Cookies.
Ivy uses only what is needed to keep you signed in. The website uses cookieless statistics. No advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children.
Ivy is for people aged 16 and over.
9. Changes.
